Showcase Your NFTs in the Metaverse | Decentralized Arts
BanklessDAO Weekly NFT and Cryptoart Newsletter
Dear Bankless Nation,
Many readers have asked us where to buy Dusty Eye NFTs and how to pay for them in Ukron; this is proof that art exceeds expectations. In short, Ukron is a fictional currency: Future Bazar is the new artistic creation of the Dusty Eye group, currently offered for free viewing to readers. In the future, this may evolve into an NFT collection, or other tokenized form, such as objects that may be worn in the metaverse.
While Future Bazar tells us about the future, the present evolves in unexpected directions. NFTs have been adopted by another big Web2 player: Reddit. This time it is Reddit's turn, reminding us once again that there is no bear market that stops the progress of the NFT space.
And as the NFT space continues to grow, NFT collections continue to build. In our feature for this edition, Kaf takes us through a few platforms in the metaverse ideal for showcasing your NFTs.
Welcome to Decentralized Arts.

Reddit Launches Reddit Collectible Avatars
Last week, the social media platform launched a new collection of Collectible Avatars. While Reddit avoided using the term “NFT” in the announcement, these collectibles are, in fact, NFTs on the Polygon blockchain.
The company said that in this initial phase there will be 90 different designs. Eventually, tens of thousands of NFTs will be available for purchase.
All NFTs have a fixed price and can be bought through fiat currencies like USD. List prices for these NFT avatars run $9.99, $24.99, $49.99, $74.99, or $99.99.
These collectible avatars are available to buy on Reddit’s avatar builder page
Polygon is Onboarding More Than 48 Projects Migrating from Terra
NFT and crypto projects that were on the Terra blockchain before it collapsed have started migrating to the Polygon blockchain. This will give new hope and another chance of success for these projects.
Ryan Wyatt, CEO of Polygon Studios, revealed in a tweet that over 48 projects have started the relocation. Among them are the game Derby Stars and NFT marketplace OnePlanet.
OnePlanet commented on the migration in a blog post, saying “the sudden collapse of the Terra ecosystem left a plethora of innovative NFT projects and their communities stranded in the wreckage.”
Polygon is also helping these projects with resources and financial support. This is a multimillion dollar fund that comes from the 450 million USD Polygon had raised previously in a venture financing round and 100 million USD from its ecosystem fund.

Showing Off Your NFTs
By Kaf
If the objective is to share our heritage, it must be accessible to as many people as possible. New tools of the digital age, such as virtual and augmented reality, facilitate the creation of a user experience in the virtual space, allowing users novel ways to experience that which does not physically exist.
In a previous edition, we talked about Adidas Ozworld, the initiative of the sports brand to enter the Metaverse. Through their association with Ready Player Me, you can create an avatar and transfer it to different decentralized applications (dapps). Once your avatar and NFTs are ready, you can meet up with your friends and show off your collection.
SPATIAL
Spatial is a platform for virtual meetings where you can create scenes thanks to virtual and augmented reality. This platform is specialized in meetings, with access to exhibition, conversation, and interaction tools. Until recently, Spatial could only be enjoyed with the Oculus system. However, now anyone with an internet connection can access an event in Spatial.
You have the option to create your character from the web, though Spatial also collaborates with Ready Player Me, so you can use your avatar and customize it to your liking.
ONCYBER
Oncyber is a free platform/tool that allows you to expose both the NFTs you have collected and those you have mined in a virtual reality space completely free of charge. This space can be accessed by anyone who has the link and from any device.
Meta Trap House by Freeze Corleone
It works very similarly to Spatial, but to display the NFTs on Oncyber, they must be in your wallet. You can also show off your 3D NFTs as statues or decorative objects.
DECENTRALAND / THE SANDBOX
Decentraland and The Sandbox are the most advanced Metaverses. Both projects are focusing on developing experiences for users to visit the huge number of buildings, galleries and events that take place in these virtual worlds. If you own land on either platform, you can easily build your own exhibition and meet up with friends.
OVER
While virtual reality is very attractive, many still want to enjoy NFTs in a more realistic environment, and so turn to augmented reality. Projects like OVER are very advanced in this aspect. We’ve talked about OVER in an earlier edition, where we explained how any user can create experiences in the different lands that are for sale.
In addition, they have created a new option that allows you to see your NFTs in augmented reality and thus give the feeling that your NFT comes to life and is next to you.
Moving Forward with Virtual and Augmented Reality
All these experiences will improve when virtual and augmented reality hardware gains mass adoption. Music, meetings, or simply having coffee with a friend will be possible even if you are thousands of kilometers away.
These types of platforms allow users to visit art galleries, concerts, and even academies, places they may never visit in real life. Digital conferences and meetings are the order of the day and platforms like Zoom or Google Meet will look boring compared to these immersive experiences.
