Uniqly: The Intersection of Physical Goods and Digital Assets | Decentralized Arts
BanklessDAO Weekly NFT and Cryptoart Newsletter
Dear Bankless Nation,
We’ve arrived at issue 50! What an incredible milestone. Congratulations to everyone on the amazing journey we have shared so far!
Much has happened in the past few months: the market reached unexplored peaks and then dropped to familiar lows. NFTs are increasingly becoming mainstream, with Meta and Reddit implementing them within their platforms. NFT.NYC coverage spanned TWO editions, alongside numerous other exhibitions and conferences. We presented artists, designers, collections, video games, and alternative uses of NFTs.
And this is just the beginning.
In this edition of Decentralized Arts (DA) we talk about the purchase of the NFTs.com domain, and how Instagram wants to reach 100 countries with its NFT offering. Furthermore, Kaf guides us on an exploration of Uniqly, a growing market supporting the trend of the unique combination of physical goods and NFTs.
And of course, to round this all out, we have another visit from our friends, the chrono travelers, The Dusty Eye Group. The journey continues.
Welcome to Decentralized Arts.

Curated NFT News
NFTs.com Acquired for 15 Million USD
The domain NFTs.com has sold for 15 million USD, according to a press release from Escrow.com, the escrow provider that facilitated the sale. Domainer and GoDaddy, two of the largest domain brokerage and acquisition specialists in the world, brokered the deal.
This is the second largest public domain sale of all time posted on NameBio.com. The highest sale of all time is voice.com at 30 million USD. Interestingly enough, voice.com is the homepage for an NFT marketplace.
The identities of the buyer and seller of NFTs.com are not public at this time, so plans for the website remain unknown. However, the website now has a line of text on the landing page that reads “Powered by DigitalArtists.com Marketplace”. DigitalArtists.com is a Web3 art platform that offers curated NFT drops and services to artists.
Instagram is expanding NFT features to more than 100 countries
Instagram announced last week via its blog that it is growing its NFT service. The expansion follows the social network's initial NFT test launch in May. With this expansion, users and businesses in more than 100 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas will now be able to share their NFTs on Instagram.
So far, Instagram supports connections with third-party wallets including Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet. Supported blockchains at this time include Ethereum, Polygon and Flow. There are no fees associated with posting or sharing a digital collectible on Instagram.
Create Your Merch with Uniqly
Physical goods traded as NFTs are the future.
By Kaf
We observe many new trends emerging in the sphere of cryptocurrencies. Some of them pass, others remain. Connecting physical goods with NFTs and the Metaverse is one trend that not only remains, but is growing.
Uniqly is a service that connects physical goods with digital assets. Their existence will help change the mentality of those who still say that NFTs are just memes and overpriced JPEGS and offer value for NFTs for those who have yet to recognize their value outside of the many NFT communities.
What is Uniqly?
Uniqly founder, Christopher Perdek, defines Uniqly as “a platform to create and trade Wearables 3.0 tokens which allow you to use goods in many different spaces with a single NFT.”
Wearables 3.0 are NFTs that grant access to physical items and digital wearables in many metaverses and AR apps, known as phygital fashion tokens. You will be able to dress yourself in your wearable in real life, as well as in AR platforms and metaverses such as Decentraland, and the Sandbox.
Uniqly collaborates with NFT projects like The Metakey, Cyberkongz, or Supducks, for example. The holders of these collections can claim a wearable 3.0 in various metaverses. Uniqly also has an option for smaller projects, brands, and creators, in which after a first contact with their team, you can create and launch your collection with them.
How does it work?
The mechanism behind Wearables 3.0 is very simple. You enter their website, find the collection you’re looking for and mint a token. You can connect your wallet and pay with crypto. Uniqly currently supports payment via ETH, APE, and MANA, and their proprietary token, UNIQ.
Once you’ve minted your Wearable 3.0, through a simple redeem process you can choose the spaces where you want to use your item(s). You currently have the option to redeem and use them on Decentraland, the Sandbox, various AR platforms, and in the real world if a physical good is attached to the token. You’ll soon be able to pay for the redemption of physical goods attached to Wearable 3.0 tokens with FIAT:
On the marketplace, users are able to sell any NFTs backed by real-world items. These NFTs can be created on the Uniqly platform, but don't have to be, allowing for more flexibility in the process of trading your digital assets. Assets can also be deposited through the on-platform escrow service.
If you want to learn more about the process you can visit Uniqly's YouTube channel, where you will find very well explained resources.
Launch your own collection with Uniqly.io
Have you ever dreamed of having your own phygital NFT collection? This may seem very complicated. However, Uniqly comes to the rescue.
Each project or brand wants the best for its community. One of the ways collections are providing value to holders is through merchandise. No matter how much of our lives we create in the digital realm, we still want items that we can touch.
Uniqly gives those communities the option to create Wearables 3.0. They have an awesome team of specialists who will help you create your collection. You just need to share your vision with them and they will do the rest!
This does not require any technical skill or knowledge from your side. You will not need to contact various suppliers. Nor will you be taking care of international delivery. You will be able to enjoy the creation and distribution of your own fresh phygital collection thanks to Uniqly.
What is coming?
Over the past year, Uniqly has been implementing new features on its website. They are working with many collections and projects to keep growing together. They are signing some strategic partnerships and collaborating with influencers and big brands.
They are working to be multi-chain, adding networks like Polkadot, Binance, and Cardano. They are also working to bring Web2 users into NFTs with the fiat solutions they are implementing. You can read about their full roadmap in their whitepaper.
Do all NFTs have the same value? Certainly not. The key is in their usefulness. The market is full of collections that offer nothing to their holders. Innovative projects like Uniqly are changing that. Through Wearables 3.0 they are showing that an NFT can be much more than a simple image!

#08 - THE CONTROL PANEL
Traveling through time in the early 24th century was a practice considered bordering on quackery. This prejudice did not stop the android N° 44 V864.962, which with 92% of audacity and a remaining 8% of unconsciousness assembled a chronotransporter of which only the control panel remains today.
