How To Win A Hackathon
Author: Mashal Waqar | Editors: WinVerse and trewkat | Designer: trewkat
Hackathons are happening so frequently all over the world. It can be hard to stay up on whatâs going on. For example, recently 120 hackathon project submissions rolled in for the Ethereum Singapore Hackathon. Bankless Publishing got up with the teams that placed first and second to get some insight into what utility they created and why.Â
We found that many crypto users are seeking a new visualization tool to monitor and analyze cryptocurrency flows efficiently for alpha catching. So, we built Dandelion. With this tool, users can trace and analyze the multi-tier flow of cryptocurrency funds with customized clustering and polymorphic visualization. Thus, users can gain insights into targeted crypto whalesâ statuses, manage transaction destinations, and assess alpha-catching needs.

Advanced Crypto Seed Phrase Protection
Author: LiveFast | Editors: Hiro Kennelly and trewkat | Designer: ab_colours
When it comes to security and storage, most mistakes arenât from theft or fire, but simply user error. People lose their seed phrases or do stuff like email them to themselves which leaves the door open for hackers. In a world learning to be their own bank, we need to take self custody seriously. Anything short of a safe and a metal plate probably isnât going to cut it.Â
Additionally, the Black Seed Ink seed phrase protector was given an overall grade of A by Jameson Lopp, who tested various metal seed phrase storage devices, including applying a 1093°C (2000°F) flame from a large propane torch to the device for 10 minutes (or until failure was observed), submerging the storage device in a bucket of 16% muriatic acid for 12 hours or until bubbling ceases, and applying a 20-ton hydraulic press to the storage device and checking for readability. These are impressive tests, but for me, the choice was simple because the cost was $27 and it came with an engraving pen â much cheaper than its equally high-rated competitors.

Web3 Wallet Management With ENS Subnames
Author: Hiro Kennelly | Editor: trewkat | Designer: ab_colours
Web3 wallet management can be confusing, especially if youâre still using long hexadecimal addresses to identify which wallet is which. This article provides easy-to-follow steps for establishing subnames connected to an existing ENS name.
Subnames make a complex web3 more manageable and transparent, allowing you to create named wallets for the different types of actions you want to take. If you want to send funds to cold storage, link your cold wallet to a âvaultâ prefix. Do you often sign multisig transactions? Create a âsignâ prefix. Do you have a wallet for degenerative cryptoeconomics? Create a âdegenâ prefix so you can easily fund (and track) your memecoin chasing.

The Power of Real-World Connections in the Digital Age
Author: Puncar | Editor: trewkat
In a world of discords, crypto twitter, and telegram threads, people often lose the humanity behind the screen. One podcaster famously stated, âI canât ever really trust anyone until Iâve met them in person.â Now this may not be 100% true, but the sentiment rings out. People need to get together to become stronger and build trust.Â
Face-to-face interactions build trust, promote understanding, and encourage collaboration. Facilitating authentic connections between individuals who share goals and aspirations is crucial, helping them learn from one another, provide mentorship, and even start businesses together. While online collaboration is convenient, in-person meetings cement community bonds.
Donât sleep on the value of in-person meetups to build your network connectivity in this article by Puncar.Â
