Dear Bankless Nation,
The news of the hour is the news of the collab we’re doing with web3’s mostly credible news source, The Rug. This week, we’re dropping the second digital artifact of the Rugstradamus Lithographs as revealed in last week’s newsletter. Rugstradamus, the mythical and mysterious figure of old, is once again gracing us with his long-reaching wisdom, and we here at Decentralized Arts are excited to share in the discovery of his words.
Furthermore, Kouros brings us the news of the latest major brand to embrace web3: Mattel. The toy manufacturer is diving into the blockchain with the creation of their proprietary marketplace.
Chippi steps on Gensler’s toes and Dusty Eye has made adjustments in their approach to wrangling the Legion of 444.
Welcome to Decentralized Arts.

The platform will feature a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace, set to go live on April 27. The launch will coincide with the introduction of the Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series 5, showcasing some of the iconic brand’s most popular car designs.
Similar Mattel initiatives include Cryptoys x Masters of the Universe as well as Barbie x Boss Beauties, the second drop of which will launch on the Mattel Creations Virtual Collectibles Platform in May.

By nonsense
This week brings the second drop from our collaboration with The Rug, web3’s mostly credible news source. From The Rug:
In this second lithograph of the inimitable personage known as Rugstradamus, we hear the echos of a Rockefellerian decree; anachronistic no doubt, coming many centuries prior. The use of .jpg before the invention of the internet is particularly fascinating to scholars interpreting his work.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce the second of the four lithographs:
This is available now, for the next seven days, via Rarible. Grab your edition today, before they drop off or sell out. 70% of each sale will go to The Rug and their contributors, 5% will go to the DA and bDAO collaboration with ThriveCoin, 10% will be returned to BanklessDAO, and 15% will be retained by Decentralized Arts.
As a special incentive with regard to this collaboration, collectors who mint all four lithographs will be able to exchange them for a Warhol-style Super NFT. Collect them all and don’t miss out on this feature!

THE LEGION OF 444 – Part 14
The Devil in a Box – RELOADEDWith illustrations by L.Elrah
Dear BanklessDAO Readers,
This week we try again with a box, but we will be much more scrupulous in the ritual considering the previous results.
First of all, the error that caused the near escape of Demon #012 was identified. A sensational mistake, for which we have no justification. The most precious ingredient was missing: light-heartedness.
Wooden vessel, scarlet seal, meditative resin. What balls indeed! It was all too serious to contain a digital entity of a demonic nature.
With these premises, we have enhanced the box by replacing the resin with rattles, a tribute to the Fool archetype.
…and in order not to miss anything, on the lid of the box a beautiful plastic simulacrum of Jesus Christ, but not just any Jesus, but the Redeemer in his infant form. Riding a fawn. An icon of Lightheartedness that we hope will make Demon #012 more comfortable than he is.
…see you next week,
Dusty Eye
