Fostering Growth and Connection | BanklessDAO Weekly Rollup
Catch Up With What Happened This Week in BanklessDAO
Dear Bankless Nation 🏴,
This week has been busy for BanklessDAO's guilds and departments as they prepare Season 10 funding proposals, and channel their efforts towards empowering people, both here at the DAO and across web3.
BanklessDAO has been a petri dish of DeSci culture (shout out KryptoShrimp L2!), so please mark your calendars for the Bankless DeSci conference scheduled for December 7. Another exciting offshoot grown out of BanklessDAO is Bankless Card, with plans to unveil its first DAO-branded card on December 8, 2023.
If you’re in the vicinity of Istanbul, you’ll want to check out some of the events happening in conjunction with Devconnect Istanbul this week. Bankless Publishing has media partnerships with three in particular: How To DAO, SheFi Summit, and d:pact. As a special offer for BanklessDAO newsletter readers, we are providing a 30% discount with code BANKLESS30 on tickets to the How To DAO event.
As we edge closer to the anticipated bull market we’ve noticed a rise in attempted scams, so wallet security remains a priority. The DAO’s Education Department is running a wallet security learning session this week — it’s a good time to check that out. Have a great week!

⚠️ Scam Alert
There’s been a major uptick in impersonations targeting DAO members. As we enter a bull market, the number of scams are going to increase exponentially. To help us identify impersonators, this list in the Announcements channel provides the correct handles of some HQ and bDAO members. Stay safe bDAO fam!
Voting is now open for seven Gitcoin Grants Collections Curators. The curators are voted on by the community via a jokerace, to help curate and share collections of projects in GG19. Anyone participating in GG19 will then be able to browse these collections on Grants Stack and discover new and exciting projects.
You can support bDAO’s own CryptoReuMd.eth via this page.
Voting closes on Monday, November 13 at 13:00 EST (18:00 UTC). Anyone who donated to at least one project and/or participated as a grantee in GG18 can vote, and you will need to bridge some ETH to the Public Goods Network (Layer 2) to cover gas fees.
